The staff at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens invite guests to experience these paintings with all five senses at the 2019 Orchid Ball: Gauguin’s Voyage to Paradise. On February 9th, explore the concepts of Gauguin’s work and step through the expertly curated gardens that run throughout the area, while keeping an eye out for the colors that show up both in nature and in Gauguin’s pieces. Taste cocktails and hors d’oeurves that replicate the wild beauty that run throughout his paintings, while listening to live music by the Perlman Music Program/Suncoast.
Held every Sunday until April 28th, the Sunday games at the Sarasota Polo Club are a great way to spend a sunny day.
